在经历了疫情大流行瘫痪了整体餐饮业三年之后,詹姆斯-比尔德基金奖(James Beard Foundation)於2022年6/11-6/13隆重回归,在芝加哥抒情大歌剧院(the Lyric Opera of Chicago) 盛大举行三場隆重的颁奖典礼,6/13 周一正式公布了2022年获奖名单,表彰了美国本土引领潮流的餐厅、成就卓越的厨师和餐饮专业人士。

终身成就奖颁发給了著名中餐烹饪秀厨艺大師甄文達先生 (Celebrity MasterChef Martin Yan won the Lifetime Achievement Award).

詹姆斯-比尔德基金会颁发的2022年度人道主义奖的获得者是格蕾丝-杨 ( Grace Young) 。一位生长与美国的华裔菜谱作者,专门研究美国本土中国菜和炒菜。由于她在烹饪方面的成就,她同时获得了2022年朱莉娅-查尔德美食和烹饪艺术基金奖 The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts.
