美國亚太裔商會於硅谷举办2024年會,赞助商 Grubhub 外賣平台连续四年设立AAPIStrong餐馆资助金

在2024年会上, 会长董继玲女士讲述了美国亚太裔商业社区的发展,美国前交通部长赵小兰出席并推介她的新书...


主题演讲嘉宾包括联邦众议员赵美心、加州政府营运署署长黄思敏(Amy Tong)、财政部副助理部长奎格(Jeanette Quick)、美国银行行政总监卡罗尔·李·米切尔(Carol Lee Mitchell)、Williams 能源公司主管暨前商务部次长唐纳德·克拉文斯(Donald Cravins)等。

会议中还同时介绍了资本准备计划(Capital Readiness Program),期望鼓励中小型企业成长,通过补助确保新生小型企业能够获得资本,以便让企业能够有效地启动、经营或者扩大业务。


会长董继玲: AAPI 商业社群成就惊人

ACE代表亚太裔商业团结声音致力改善经济发展及影响

全美亚裔总商会代表美国291万AAPI企业的声音,总计超过500万名员工。总商会在全美有130多个关係商会及少数族裔企业组织伙伴,致力改善经济发展及影响,增进合作、加强打造社区,培养下一代 ACE NExtGen亚裔企业家及高管,支持并推广对亚裔企业有影响的议题。

全美亚裔总商会长董继玲会长在致词时表示,亚太裔社区是美国增长最快的族裔群体。亚太裔社区爲创造就业机会和经济增长做出了重大贡献,今年AAPI社区的购买力预计将达1.6万亿美元,「AAPI企业家,只要有合适的机会、资源和方向,就能取得令人难以置信的成就。」

Native Fields


Cathleen “Cat” Castaneda 是一位菲裔美國主廚,也是位於加州 Walnut 市的 Native Fields 餐廳的老闆。她曾就讀於紐約 Hyde Park 的美國烹飪學院(CIA),並獲得了烹飪藝術專科學位。她曾多年在其導師主廚和其他著名餐廳工作,最終於 2018 年開設了自己的 Native Fields 餐廳。


Nom Wah Nolita


Zhiyu Lai 是第二代華裔美國人,七年前他離開了從事 IT 的企業工作,與自己最好的朋友一起追求創業夢想。兩人都在紐約長大,父母是移民,於 2016 年共同開設了 Nom Wah Nolita 餐廳,旨在體現父母的廣東文化與紐約人的融合。

Pho Loan


Loan Nguyen 是來自越南的移民,她在 Bac Lieu 長大。1995 年她移民到美國,在美甲沙龍工作多年,但十年前決定與丈夫一起開設 Pho Loan 餐廳。這家餐廳業務蒸蒸日上,雖然經歷了 COVID 疫情的困難時期,現在仍然屹立不倒。

Native Fields

Cathleen “Cat” Castaneda, a Filipina-American chef and owner of the restaurant Native Fields in Walnut, California. She attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and graduated with an AOS Degree in Culinary Arts. She cooked under her mentor chef and other famed restaurants for years before she opened her own Native Fields in 2018.


Nom Wah Nolita

Zhiyu Lai, a second-generation Chinese American, who left his corporate job in IT seven years ago to pursue a dream of entrepreneurship with his best friend. Both grew up in New York, and raised by immigrant parents, the two opened No Wah Nolita in 2016, viewing this as ways to embody their parents’ Cantonese culture and the New Yorker’s.


Pho Loan

Loan Nguyen, is an immigrant from Vietnam and she grew up in Bac Lieu. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1995, worked in nail salons for years, but decided to open a restaurant Pho Loan with her husband 10 years ago. The business had been thriving, they survived the hardship during COVID, and business is still standing.
